AGES – 13 – 16 YEARS
FEES: $565 for the entire session(Tax Included).
COURSE CONTENT: The course starts with basic level pattern drafting and sewing skills. At the end of the classes, the student will be able to draft a skirt block and bodice block. The student will be taught how to interpret the blocks to make several skirt and dress styles which would be sewn out in the form of practicals and would constitute a percentage of the student’s assessment.
Professional sewing skills are covered with emphasis on good and clean finishing.
The student can choose to continue lessons by registering for intermediate and advance levels. The basic level is a prerequisite for this.
PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY: The minimum age for our classes is 13years old. The prices listed for class fees includes HST, therefore will be added to your registration. Unless noted and communicated, sewing machines and materials are provided for use in class. A basic sewing kit is required for all classes. These are available for purchase.
MISSED CLASSES: We understand life happens and sometimes gets in the way. If you need to miss a class, please let us know ASAP! Only one makeup class is allowed and will be a scheduled day and time. If you simply do not show up, you forfeit the class. There are no exceptions.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Any cancellations or changes to your registration must be done at least 48 hours prior to the class start date. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the class start date and students who do not show up to class will forfeit their payments.
Please be sure of your schedule before registering for a class, as we do not send reminders.
REFUND ON REGISTRATION: In the rare event that we need to unavoidably terminate a class that you have already registered for, you will receive a full refund of the fees paid.
